The Rubik”s Cube was invented in 1974, and the craze behind the puzzle never stopped. People obsessed over completing the cube for years, while competitions were held to solve the puzzle in the fastest time possible.

Until recently, the Rubik”s Cube record was held by Mats Valk of the Netherlands, who solved the cube in only 5.55 seconds. As of today, however, the record has finally come back to America…in an astonishing new record time.
